Time for some diverting quiz action
With everything still being rather challenging in the sector at the moment there is a need for the occasional diversion. We therefore thought it was once again time to offer an update of one of those Picture Quizzes which are clogging up the archives to provide a little stimulation and distraction.
Previous quizzes have seen us guessing universities in the UK and Scandinavia plus of course this no longer topical general election match up test.
This one then is an updated version of a medium difficulty quiz from the Wonkhe Registrarism archives. A set of a dozen African universities most of which it really should be relatively easy for anyone with an international higher education outlook to identify. It’s like Roy Walker used to put it so eloquently during his tenure of the Catchphrase TV show, you just need to say what you see.
So, for example, if our university quiz were to present you with these two pictures side by side you would naturally say…

… Swan and Sea = Swansea University! See, could not be easier.
Can you identify these universities in Africa from the picture clues? You’ll find a link to all the answers at the bottom of the page – no peeking.
As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti, here are your African universities:
