Wonderful HE – Another Registrarism blog by Dr Paul Greatrix.

Following many years of writing an independent higher ed blog and then a happy period writing for Wonkhe, it seemed time to try something a bit different.

Actually not that different if I am honest. The intention is to provide a range of familiar HE stuff, both sensible and more throwaway, from regulation to rankings and from transnational education to true crime on campus (of course). Much of it will, I hope, reflect the more wonderful aspects of HE. Let’s see if it is worth the effort.

For those who don’t know me I am an experienced Higher Education professional, blogger and commentator. Focused on HE policy, regulation, quality, governance, leadership and international matters. But also some of the more entertaining aspects of HE.

I’ve enjoyed over 35 years working in higher education covering many aspects of academic administration including an 18 year stint as Registrar at the University of Nottingham. You can find more details of the career stuff etc on everyone’s favourite grown-up social media platform, LinkedIn.
